AI news watch: how to keep up with artificial intelligence

AI produces dozens of announcements every day: new models, funding rounds, regulation, tools. Keeping up does not mean reading everything, but getting the right selection at the right time. Here is the method we apply, and how Le Petit Récap can do it for you.

A four-step method

  1. Start from primary sources

The official blogs of AI labs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google DeepMind, Mistral AI), research papers (arXiv) and regulators (European Commission, CNIL) are where news originates; the specialist press adds context. Le Petit Récap follows more than twenty of these sources and cites each one.

  2. Sort by relevance, not volume

Not everything deserves your attention. Every story gets a relevance score and a topic: you see the day's essentials first, then the full feed, grouped by day.

  3. Bring the news back to your job

An announcement does not mean the same thing for a hospital, a bank or an agency. Industry pages and the "What it changes for you" block on each story turn the news into concrete consequences.

  4. Set a regular slot

An effective news watch fits into a routine: a check-in in the morning, a review at the end of the week. The morning and Friday editions of Le Petit Récap are built for that rhythm.

The sources we follow

AI labs and model makers, scientific preprints, French and international tech press, regulators: each source is chosen for the reliability of its announcements. Summaries are written by AI, cite their source and link back to it. Our method is detailed on the About page.
